PERSONALITY

When she was younger, Gabrielle wanted to be just like Fleur, do everything her older sister did and act just like her. Gabrielle was self-absorbed, confident, rude, condescending, snobbish, and arrogant just like Fleur before the Triwizard Tournament. After she decided that she would become her own person and actually gave up most of her sisters personality qualities. Gabrielle was sweet by nature to begin with and her kindness has only grown since. Though she's also just as stubborn as she is kind which helps when she is dealing with difficult people at the Hospital.

Gabrielle is also determined and dedicated to her work. She cares for those she loves deeply though isn't afraid of being on her own, which is probably why she has trouble keeping boyfriends with how much she loves to go from place to place. Gabrielle is sure that one day she will want to settle down but for now, the world is unsafe and the desire to do so is not there. She excelled in school and can do a bit of everything though she struggles a bit with Herbology and she is not a fan of magical creatures. Gabrielle is scared of some of them that she's come into contact with. She believes that everyone has the right to practice magic if that is what they are called to do so she's not impressed with the normal pureblood mentality. Though kind a sweet in nature, as well as determined and overall good person, she does still have a slight snobbish and condescending attitude that especially shows when she gets frustrated.

HISTORY

Gabrielle's childhood was exactly what you would expect from a witch growing up in the wizarding world. Her parents were always loving and caring. Gabrielle always looked up to her older sister, Fleur and remembers when Fleur got her acceptable letter to attend Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. The entire family celebrated. Gabby couldn't wait to receive her own acceptance letter. Even though Fleur would leave, her older sister always remained close to Gabby. A few years later, Gabrielle finally got her own acceptance letter and the time had come for her to start her time at Beauxbatons. Though when she got there, all the professors and even some of the students expected her to be just like Fleur. Gabrielle found that it was two very different things to want to follow in her sister's footsteps and to be expected to. Gabrielle ended up doing a bit of both and tried to be just like her sister. This continued until something happened that would change the two sister's lives forever.

The Triwizard Tournament happened in 1994 and was held at Hogwarts. Her big sister was chosen to be one of the potential candidates for the Tournament naturally. Gabrielle got to go with them because Fleur couldn't bare to leave her little sister behind. The journey to Hogwarts itself was amazing, let alone getting to see the sites at Hogwarts and the students from Durmstrang. Gabby watched as her sister and the others were chosen for the Tournament with a mix of awe and fear. She cheered her sister on during the 1st Task as Fleur went after the dragon egg. The second task was different because she was part of the second task as a spell was cast on her. Gabrielle found out later that she was held hostage by the Merpeople with the other treasured people that the contestants had to retrieve. Fleur wasn't able to get her due to the grindylows and it was actually Harry Potter that saved her and his treasured, Ron Weasley. All she really remembers was being grateful that Harry had saved her, which of course everyone knew of Harry Potter but she hadn't even really noticed him until that moment. Gabrielle continued to watch the Triwizard Tournament until the end when Harry Potter came back with Cedric Diggory dead and proclaiming that He Who Must Not Be Named had returned.

After that Gabrielle returned to school and realized that she had changed. She was no longer resentful towards her sister but also didn't admire her as much as she used to. Gabrielle was her own person and it suddenly didn't matter what the professors and other students wanted out of her. At the end of that school year, Gabrielle watched proudly as her sister graduated and started working at Gringotts. Gabrielle had started taking classes that would allow her to become a Healer though she also focused on being able to defend herself thoroughly if she ever came up against a Death Eater or those supporting He Who Must Not Be Named. Two years later, Gabrielle was overjoyed when Fleur fell in love with Bill Weasley and moved into the Burrow. Life went on for the next year with Gabrielle focusing on her schooling. Then came time for her older sister's wedding held at the Burrow. Gabrielle was a bridesmaid wearing a golden dress. However, the wedding was interrupted by Death Eaters and it was at this moment that Gabrielle realized how real the War was and that she would find a way to become a part of it.

However, Gabrielle continued school even though there was chaos around her. The parents and professors had agreed that the students should continue life as usual for their children even though Fleur was fighting right alongside Bill during the battle. Gabrielle finally graduated and though she was not directly given a job as a Healer-in-training right out of school, she was given the opportunity to work at the TearRoom at St. Mungo's during that summer. Voldemort changed the wizarding world after the battle of Hogwarts. Gabrielle decided to make a difference in a way that only a few could but was much needed, by running supplies to those who needed them who were fighting against Voldemort. She currently resides wherever her last supply of the day was ran, either Shell Cottage, Hideaway, or even Hogwarts. Gabrielle never stays at one place for too long and is content to help in every way she can.
