RAVENCLAW - POTIONS CLUB
Baylee Linton
THE RECORDS BIRTH DATE: 15/07/1986WAND: Holly, Unicorn Hair, Ten and a half inches, reasonably supple & slightly springy ABILITIES: None of relevance. HOBBIES: Baylee is a quiet girl and spends a lot of her time in the Library, reading. She exercises early in the morning to clear her mind, and have it fresh for the day, or just to think over things. She enjoys the odd game of Quiddich, however, she is often seen with her nose in the book whilst int he crowd instead of watching the full game. FAMILY: Father - Charles Edward Linton - 40 Years - Pure Blood Mother - Lucille Baylee Linton - 39 Years - Muggle PERSONALITY Baylee can be considered many things... Quiet - Baylee loves to be alone. She does not speak up at all in fear of being considered out of turn, or worse, incorrect. She may know the answer, however, being full of self doubt and minimal self confidence prevents her from fulfilling her full potential Socially Awkward - Unfortunately, if you even try to strike up a conversation with Baylee, she will probably say something incredibly embarrassing, blurt out random facts about objects in her surrounding or just murmur something and quickly scurry away. Baylee only has those few friends around her that can make her come out of her shell, but she's often seen at the back of the crowd. Smart - As per the sorting hat's decision, Baylee relishes in the thought of submerging herself in any book she can get her hands on. Her mission from day one of attending Hogwarts, was to read every book she could in the Library. In saying this, Baylee is factual. She's full of random facts and this tends to be her only means on communication. No Self Confidence - Baylee lacks a certain trait in which many people carry - confidence. She has little to no confidence in herself and does not try in fear of being laughed at, hexed or ridiculed. HISTORY It was the seventeenth day of July in the year 1984 when a little girl was born, her dark features resembling the same as her father. She was the perfect little girl that her parents could have ever hoped for, flawless features, big brown eyes, rose red lips against her pale skin. She was picture perfect, and mezmerized those around her. It came as a calming distraction from the difficuties the Linton family held everyday. The first wizardry war was not long over, but the remenants remain, the memories, the torment, and the evil. The family tread carefully, however, with Baylee's magic growing more powerful everyday, brought unwelcome visitors to their quiet street more often than not. By the time Baylee reached the age of 11, and her Hogwarts letter arriving same day, her parents argued tirelessly day and night on whether to send her to the school that was connected to the Magical Leader, Voldemort. Baylee's mother argued strongly that her daughter needed to be normal, needed to be shielded from the devastation that was the Magical World. She could only imagine what they school might do to her, how they would treat her blood status wise, for having a muggle for a mother... Her mother would cry after each argument, knowing that what she feared, would be best for her child. It was the day that Baylee was to leave for Hogwarts. She kissed her parents goodbye, shed many tears and boarded the Hogwarts Express. She wondered what she would do without them. She hadn't developed the social skills necessary to be good at making friends. Her parents had kept her inside, mostly afraid for their child's safety in this new world. They were afraid for their own safety. Baylee kept to herself for most of the years she attended Hogwarts. She had managed to make a few friends where she felt comfortable to be around them, however, she was never able to get close to anyone else. She was just generally known as the quiet girl at the back of the room. Over the years, many rumors circulated through the school about her - classifying her as the weird girl nobody liked, perhaps she was some psycho time bomb waiting to self destruct, which kept a lot of people away, but Baylee liked it that way, being alone. It came to her seventh and final year. She was excited to leave this place. Make a life of her own, away from the torment, destruction and evil that surrounded her everyday. Thoughts of becoming a muggle flooded her mind everyday, to forget the angst of the wizardry World, but that all changed. It was the beginning of the year, she had recently said goodbye to her parents for the last time. As she was settling into her new room, her new bed which housed her belongings, barely unpacked, it was made aware to her by an unknown owl, that her mother had disappeared. Her own mother that she had kissed goodbye only hours before, was gone. No trace could be found. Baylee wanted to leave, but knew it was no use. She knew the culprit. It was the evil that surrounded her everyday life. It was her new mission. She would no longer sit in the corner and be a shadow. She was going to use this year to make herself known, develop her skills. She was going to fight. This was her mission. She was going to find her mother, no matter what it took, because this was her year to be feared... Monn336 - 21 - AEST - Victoria, Australia - Female |
